The Flying of Falcons

‏95.00 US$

The Flying of Falcons by Ed Pitcher, with contributions from Ricardo Velarde, Andrew Ellis, Bern Poppelmann, and Daryl Peterson, presents a philosophy of letting captive-reared falcons develop naturally rather than through rigid training. Pitcher argues that minimizing falconer interference helps birds develop a genuine “wild mind set,” flying with the confidence and independence of their wild counterparts. Illustrated throughout by respected wildlife artists.
